While it may feel like déjà vu, we’ve got another shipping update from Hasbro, and this time, it’s for the big one.
Following last week’s Ecto-Glow Ecto-1 update, which saw “preparing to ship” emails go out, the same notices are now being sent for the Ghostbusters Plasma Series Proton Pack (1984).

As it stands, the Hasbro Pulse listing still reflects a June 1 shipping estimate. However, based on how these notifications have played out in the past, they typically arrive roughly a week before dispatch. If that pattern holds, there’s a strong chance collectors could begin receiving their unlicensed nuclear accelerators sooner than expected, though when these actually ship remains to be seen.

That said, if you’ve got a pre-order locked in, now’s the time to double-check your payment information and make sure you’ve got the funds ready, as charges typically follow shortly after these notices go out.
This latest movement comes after a series of delays for the Proton Pack. Originally slated for a March 2026 release, it was first pushed to early May before ultimately landing on its current June 1 window, with Hasbro citing “unexpected delays.”
At the time of writing, the Ecto-Glow Ecto-1 listing remains unchanged, and, with notifications just going out, the same goes for the Proton Pack.

As always, we’ll continue to monitor both items closely. Once official shipping confirmations begin rolling out, expect a follow-up.
