A new royal family portrait, featuring the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their three children, has been shared with the public to celebrate Prince William and Princess Catherine’s fifteenth wedding anniversary.

Since tying the knot back in 2011, the couple have welcomed son Prince George, 12, daughter, Princess Charlotte, and their youngest boy, Prince Louis, who recently celebrated his own milestone in the form of his eighth birthday.

The latest photo shows the family lying on the grass together with their pet pooch receiving a stroke from William; the future King and Queen and their children are all dressed casually and laughing, showing the close bond they share as a five.

A simple caption to accompany reads: “Celebrating 15 years of marriage ❤️”

It’s estimated that over a billion people tuned in to watch Prince William and Kate Middleton say ‘I do’ on 29 April 2011.

The Princess wore a dress from British designer, Sarah Burton, for Alexander McQueen, and reportedly did her own make-up for the ceremony.

As a wedding gift, the late Queen Elizabeth II bestowed the titles of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the couple, which they held until her passing when they then inherited the Prince and Princess of Wales’ titles from William’s father, King Charles.
