Will Arnett and his girlfriend Carolyn Murphy have split.
The news comes just eight months after their relationship was confirmed, though TMZ is reporting that the breakup happened “a few months ago.”
What happened in Will Arnett and Carolyn Murphy’s relationship?
Will and Carolyn were confirmed to be a couple back in September 2025, when they were spotted attending a play together in London. They eventually appeared together on the red carpet on several occasions, with the most recent one being the 2026 Golden Globes. They notably did not step out together at the Oscars back in March 2026 though. You can see some of their red carpet photos in the gallery attached.
TMZ reports that nothing “nasty” happened between the former couple, “this is just two adults whose relationship didn’t work out.”
Who did Will Arnett and Carolyn Murphy date previously?
Will was previously in a long term relationship with Alessandra Brawn, who he dated for five years, and shares five-year-old son Denny with. People also confirmed they quietly broke up in 2024, and “remain committed co-parents,” according to a source.
He is also dad to two sons, Archie, 16, and Abel, 14, with ex-wife Amy Poehler.
Carolyn was previously married to Jake Schroeder for three years, divorcing in 2002. She has one daughter, 24-year-old Dylan Blue.
