HOOVER, Ala. (WBRC) – The stars were out and shining bright Wednesday at the Regions Tradition Pro-Am at Greystone Golf & County Club.

Names like Nick Saban, Kalen DeBoer, Alex Golesh, Alex Mortensen, Lance Armstrong, Riley Green, the Good Day Alabama crew, and more were all in attendance.
DeBoer, playing alongside four-time major champion Ernie Els, was a topic of discussion after recently signing an extension with the Crimson Tide.
“I’m blessed to have a university and I can’t thank [Director of Athletics] Greg Byrne, our president, and trustees enough. Love being here at Alabama and looking forward to many more great years,” DeBoer said.
Meanwhile, new Auburn head football coach Alex Golesh had a funny moment with a young fan on the 1st tee, making sure he said the words “War Eagle.”
The first round of the 2026 Regions Tradition begins Thursday morning.
