Anne Hathaway and Stanley Tucci on bloopers, favourite British phrases and The Devil Wears Prada 2

Anne Hathaway and Stanley Tucci join BBC Radio 1’s film critic Ali Plumb to talk about their new movie, The Devil Wears Prada 2. They reveal the truth about working with Meryl Streep on the sequel, plus they separate the fact from fiction around the myths on the original movie (Did Emily Blunt really make fart noises before each take??) Plus, they choose their favourite British turns of phrase and discuss their love for Pixar’s Ratatouille and Pretty Woman.

    1. What is beyond surprise is that Anne revealed that she was the ninth choice for the role of Andy Sachs in the first film. I wonder what the film would have felt like if another actress had been casted instead of Anne.

    2. Never watched devil wear's prada, hopefully someday,

I just wikied prada sometime before, saw another interview before this video came up,

And also because i care for merly ( i haven't watched any of her movie's, when i think of merly, julie and julia comes to mind, because of the mortar and pestle she use's, and her oscar win's)

and learnt that it's an italian company established in 1913,

Respect for stanley tucci ( will watch his content some day ),

      Syncopy's favorite ( if you know what i mean ) 🦇

    3. I like this guys interview style. Because he knows actors’ doing loads of press junkets for a movie they are in get fed up of answering the same questions. You can tell they enjoyed his left feild questions 🫶 x

    4. Stanley Tucci isn't wrong about the tasting of food. Content creators/influencers all do it. They will take a bite of something, do the whole eye roll of "oh my gosh, this is fantastic" and haven't even chewed it yet.

    5. I have to totally agree, the empty coffee cup acting is annoying. I see actors walking down the street with a supposed full cup of coffee, where the cups tilted sideways. Just put some freaking water in the thing.
