  1. Am I the only one that struggles to appreciate this kind of talent? I mean it just seems so superficial anymore to watch this display of filthy rich people drooling all over each other because of a stupid dress. I used to get into it but not anymore.

  2. It's just as it states – ART. I'm so glad I went to school at a time when the various art forms (pottery, music, fashion, etc.) were a required part of our "WORLD" education.
Even though you may not appreciate it or like it, you should be able to understand it's overall importance.
Also, I'm very working-class – but PLEASE STOP VILIFYING RICH PEOPLE! Most are beautiful souls & without them most of us wouldn't have jobs or benefit from the many foundations and programs they support. Think of all the "workers" in the background who eat and pay bills because of this Gala.
    Try a little LOVE…❤

  3. I am a proud Art School graduate. There has never been a civilization without art. If one has not traveled or even learned about art in its various forms, in this case visual, they eill have a difficult time grasping how wonderful this is and what it does to help the arts and move it forward. Even if you do like it, it will somehow affect you, and most importantly, maybe get you to look o to art and see how it all fits. Thank heavens for rich people who donate heavily to the arts, they make art possible-even in a form tou don't appreciate. It helped you buy that sofa painting, or cliche bowl. Brava Ms. Winter! Thank you
