Oh, so now he’s trying to say he ‘isn’t like he used to be’. Basically.

  2. See, that what happens. We‘re all just one workation away from becoming…this!?

  3. You made $1 billion off of touting those messages ….. I could go on and on, but he made a song literally called. “The streets is watching” … now all he wants to talk about how rich he is.

So basically what the chat is saying is none of us are ever allowed to change our viewpoints

Hes been a rich succesful man far longer now than he was ever ‘broke’ or struggling.

But part of growing up is realising how much shit we used to believe is nonsense

  6. To me, Jay-Z will always just be one of the scrubs clinging onto Big L’s coattails.

He’s a grown man. I’d be disappointed if he still had that childish mindset.

Maybe I’m in the minority here but I just don’t care about an artists personal life.

I’ve been a huge Jay-Z fan since high school and listened to all his records.

I’ve never once looked up an interview, book, or biography on him.

When a new album comes out I listen. If it’s good I add it to the library, if it sucks I don’t listen to it.

I learned about the cheating allegations a couple years ago but I don’t need an artist to be a role model. Just make good music.

Obviously I draw the line on people like Chris Brown or Kanye.

I don’t see the issue here. It’s a good message.

Fascinating the difference when a young artist (often white) says something racist and tries to change and learn and everyone gives them grace.

But a black man talking about street culture and how it’s toxic, which it is, and he disagrees with it now decades later is bad because he’s a billionaire or you just don’t like him? I like the message and it should be spread more especially to the younger generation.

Extremely wealthy, but extremely poor in all other aspects. When you die, you can’t take anything with you.

Why is a billionaire living in a gated community talking about the streets? When was the last time dude walked the streets?

Ethical Billionaires don’t exist. Him and Beyonce are not ethical billionaires, because as I said they don’t exist. Fuck them.
