This is just the tip of the iceberg. The ripple effects of the war and oil crisis will have massive worldwide consequences

Expect your regular plane fare to skyrocket. This will affect everyone, not just spirit passengers.

Well, there goes the best content creator in the category ‘people behaving unhinged-ly on airplanes’ đ
I guess I can understand why you wouldn’t be open about things being super bad (I mean, that would lead to people not picking your services, thus worsening the problem). But it sucks so bad for the users and employees when a company folds so suddenly.

I read this last night and was freaking out on behalf of soon to be stranded ppl before they began cutting flights. The last Spirit flight landed in Dallas.

Iâll aways remember the one Spirit flight I took and how fucking funny the flight attendant doing the safety demo was.
âThere is a $2000 fine for smoking on the plane, and I know if you could afford that you wouldnât be on this flightâ

I loved Spirit airlines. We never had a problem on any flight we took with them. Loved saving some money, traveling out of a backpack. RIP.

i know they were shitty but always sad to see another budget airline bite the dust. a few years ago i stupidly left my chooched out $12k work macbook on an american airlines flight. i was getting the complete runaround from AA and the airport for so long that my job started garnishing my wages to recoup the cost. i ended up posting on a few of the pilot/FA subs and it was a Spirit pilot that ended up tracking it down for me and shipped it back. i am forever in debt to that guy! i hope heâs with another airline now.

So youâre saying, there is no Spirit in the Sky?
Apparently some of their customers didnât find at until they where at the airport, looking for their flight.
This is genuinely so sad. I feel for the thousands of workers who were just laid off overnight.
