This is more than a financial issue. Yeah, yeah….new technology, cost cuts, people out of a job, adapt or die….we know the script. But AI disruptions transcend beyond economic problems. It disrupts human development. Art enriches life. Art enriches our ability to think and create. And novelty is part of what makes great art great. AI excellerates the factory template approach to art which removes novelty. When novelty is removed, we treat it as a perishable item. It becomes nothing all that special. Consequently, there's less profundity to be found there. And so, there is real reason to mourn. You can be completely detached from the economic disruption of AI and still suffer wounds from its degradation of art and culture. We need to fold that aspect into the conversation – not just focus on economics.
By the way, I'm not against AI altogether. Rather, I'm against an application of AI that ignores all ethical problems and ignores the withering of human intelligence and creativity that comes with its overreliance.
She wanted to retire anyway.
I hope she saved and invested the money she got from the show "Lost."
They are headed toward an all AI image Marvel movie. They've already halfway done it.

Is not just AI, the show Stranger Things could have continued due to how popular it was however they ended it and now are rebooting it as animation style bypassing having to pay the original cast.
