      Actors have power. Hollywood once was a frontier for workers rights. Actors demanded rights for themselves and others in the industry. Time to do that again.

      This has nothing to do with ai. The real reason is Disney fired most of the Viz Dev team is because they choosing to hire contract devs instead of a fulltime internal team. This is a cost saving decision that would allow Disney to hire for a project and then let them go when the project is completed. That way Disney doesn't have to pay for benefits on those temp devs.

      Small correction Stan Lee created The Wasp and Jack Kirby drew her…Mr Park came along and tweaked the original art/concept for the films. Sad that he is being replaced but it is their(Disney/Marvel) Intellectual Property. FYI both companies are terrible and they ruined the IP after End Game…along with Star Wars!

      I don’t care that this was coming. Part of the draw toward Disney was the quality and the awe that people could make that happen. Maybe the modern consumer only cares about their eyes dancing over moving lights on the screen, if so they are poorer for it. It’s sad and it is happening everywhere, our society is replacing quality and spirit as in the heart that people put into things with soulless flash and demanding everyone be satisfied with that and for the young who never and will never appreciate that they will continue to cough over money never knowing what they are missing, and that is very sad.

      I don’t like seeing people lose jobs, that is terrible of course. We all have to adapt and find how to work with these new capabilities, AI is going to be disruptive but it’s not all doom and gloom gloom. This will greatly lower the bar for producing movies which will decentralize control over who can make movies and what movies get made.

      FYI: Disney didn't invent these characters. The writers of Marvel comics did. Disney ruined the concept by oversaturating with woke, race & gender swapped characters. Buh-bye.

      They should learn to pick crops or build homes.
      Ive zero sympathy to people losing jobs to a.i after 40 years of them telling blue collar workers to get a real job and learn to keep up with technology.
