THE RUNDOWN
Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet were filmed in New York City the night before the 2026 Met Gala. They were joined by Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner. It is speculated the couple may walk the red carpet together.
On Sunday, Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet were seen attending a special showing of the play The Fear of 13, based on the true crime documentary, in New York City. They were joined by Kylie’s mother, Kris Jenner, and her sister, Kim Kardashian, who is a producer on the show.
In the video, Kylie is wearing a black bodysuit with a trench coat and black thong heels. Chalamet is in pants and blue windbreaker. He can be seen waiting for her as she exits their car, then taking her hand to walk to the venue.
The sighting comes ahead of the Met Gala on Monday night, which the Kardashian and Jenner families often attend. With Chalamet’s presence, fans are wondering if he might be walking the red carpet for the big event. The night raises money for the museum’s Costume Institute, asking the guest list to dress thematically. This year’s theme is “Fashion Is Art,” in alignment with its spring exhibition, “Costume Art.”
The Costume Institute curator, Andrew Bolton, said of the theme, “What connects every curatorial department and what connects every single gallery in the museum is fashion, or the dressed body. It’s the common thread throughout the whole museum.”
Last year, Kylie attended the event without Chalamet, wearing a sheer Ferragamo corset dress with a thigh-high leg slit, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, and a wrap that was on theme with the night’s “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” directive.

Chalamet was last seen at the Met Gala in 2021, where he wore a white tuxedo blazer with black lapels, white sweatpants, and white Converse sneakers for “In America: A Lexicon Of Fashion,” which focused on popular street fashion.
