When watching a film, everything often feels perfectly controlled. Scenes look clean and carefully crafted, without the chaos that usually exists behind the cameras. But the reality on set can be very different, and Margot Robbie has now revisited that side of filmmaking while talking about her experience alongside Leonardo DiCaprio.
The actress looked back on one of the most defining moments of her career in The Wolf of Wall Street, the Martin Scorsese film that marked her breakthrough in Hollywood. In it, she shared several scenes with DiCaprio in a set that, far from what appears on screen, was filled with constant movement and fairly cramped conditions.
One of the sequences took place in a very small space, with the technical crew positioned extremely close to them, which made every take feel more intense than usual. Between retakes and adjustments, the atmosphere became increasingly dense, with very little room for comfort.

On top of that, there was a scene involving a dog that was supposed to participate, but it didn’t behave as expected, which complicated the filming entirely. The crew had to carry out several adjustments on set just to try to get the dog to react and complete the shot, turning the moment into something far more chaotic than originally planned.
In the middle of all that, the shoot became a mix of tension, improvisation, and genuinely unpleasant, sweaty conditions.
Despite everything, the actress has acknowledged that the experience was part of a key stage in her career. It was also during that time that she began to establish her professional dynamic with Leonardo DiCaprio, whom she has since come to regard as one of her favorite actors.
