Blair Underwood sits down for his very own rETrospective, taking a walk down ET memory lane with never-before-seen behind-the-scenes moments from his decades-long career in Hollywood. The actor gets emotional revisiting archival footage from his final days on ‘L.A. Law,’ revealing he immediately boarded a plane to begin filming ‘Just Cause’ alongside Sean Connery, Laurence Fishburne and a then 10-year-old Scarlett Johansson. Underwood also opens up about the projects he once resisted, and how producers ultimately won him over by promising compelling characters — including his arc as Cynthia Nixon’s love interest on ‘Sex and the City.’ Now, after more than 40 years on screen, he’s turning to the page. His new book, ‘A Soldier’s Wife’ (out now), is a memoir he completed on behalf of his late mother, based on decades of notes and interviews she compiled.
