What the fuck does their nationalities have to do with it? Can’t she just be happy that she won lol?
Edit: Obviously I know they’re both at war. Iâm Pro Ukraine. I have Russian friends who donât condone anything their country does. I donât know anything about this athlete but you shouldnât generalise someone just because of where theyâre from. A countryâs government is one thing, their people are another.

Iâm not surprised sheâs getting flack for this. The Ukrainian athletes often receive criticism for not taking the pre-match photos or not shaking the hands of âneutralâ players (in addition to Russia, Belarus players are also âneutralâ).
