Greta Van Fleet haven’t played live since completing a set in September 2024 at the Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, CT, while the band’s last recorded release was the promotional single Farewell For Now the previous year

They’re an act with a shelf life. Would be surprised if they were still together. I met and stage managed a show of theirs in 2018, and they weren’t having a good time back then. Like no other band I’ve ever worked with out of hundreds. very manufactured.

Saw them open for Metallica, they tried way too hard to be Led Zeppelin and the singer was extremely pitchy. I think they are definitely talented but not anywhere near stadium level so definitely overrated.

That’s too bad if true. I don’t really listen to them aside from when their songs come up on a playlist, but it was nice to see a younger band find success with guitar-driven songs, rather than 3 minutes of the same catchy loop.

I like their music

Good Lord. What an insane amount of hate and vitriol for this band. If you don’t like them, that’s fine. But to trash them over your dislike of how they dress and how influenced they are by Led Zeppelin is just mean.
They have faced a stream of hatred since their first single came out and it’s been a non-stop slinging of shit since. In the face of a constant onslaught of online hatred, I’m surprised they lasted as long as they did.

They are all great musicians but it seemed like they didn’t know how to grow in terms of songwriting. Not saying they have to completely flip the script but it was time to showcase what else they could do outside of the Zeppelin worship.

Being influenced is one thing, but sticking to a gimmick and not developing isn’t interesting to a whole lot of rock listeners. IYKLZYK

This isn’t the first time I’ve seen their name and worried it was Sharon Van Etten instead.

They are definitely talented , but instead of impersonating Led Zeppelin, they need to do their own thing.

I never cared for their music, but their hometown is one of my favorite places in the world. I always rooted for them if only because of that.
