Actress and musician Jackie Tohn will speak to Northwestern community members May 26 at 7 p.m. in Tech Auditorium, NU Hillel announced Tuesday.
Tohn, who has also worked as a standup comedian and show creator, is widely known for her role as Esther in the Netflix romantic comedy series “Nobody Wants This,” which premiered September 2024. The show’s third season is set to release later this year.
Tickets to the event are free, according to a Tuesday press release from NU Hillel.
“It’s going to be such a cool opportunity to hear from a Jewish celebrity who is authentically representing Jewish characters today,” Weinberg junior and NU Hillel Programming co-Chair Callie Berthold said in the release.
