Charlize Theron Defends Her 5 Most Controversial Takes | SubwayTakes Uncut

In this episode of SubwayTakes Uncut, Charlize Theron (Monster, Mad Max: Fury Road) sits down with Kareem Rahma and breaks down her 5 hottest takes on dating, communication, driving etiquette, social norms, and why fancy restaurants might be scamming you. From why saying “I want to make love to you” is an instant turn-off, to why long emails should be illegal, to how people completely misunderstand the fast lane.

    Charlize also talks about:
    • why over-talking kills attraction
    • the problem with long, unnecessary emails
    • why changing the rules mid-game is unforgivable
    • how freeway lanes are supposed to work (and why no one follows it)
    • why tiny wine pours are not “fancy”
    • the difference between a real zipper merge and just being an asshole
    • why FaceTime is better than texting
    • and the one phrase that instantly gives her the ick

    Enjoy 🙂

    1. Not all women wish to be treated like a piece of meat , miss Theron. Some, most actually, enjoy romance. Nothing wrong with sex. Nothing wrong with fucking . If you wish something so superficial and temporary then go ahead.

    2. 2:20 cuz it's a gawd damn lie. It's a thing a dude says, assuming that's what a woman wants to hear and then proceeds to do nothing of the like.

    3. I’ve never really looked into Charlize Theron outside of watching her movies, but after this interview I feel like I got a glimpse of her personality here, and honestly, she reminds me of myself. Great actress aside, the way she thinks and expresses herself feels so familiar to me. I know some people find personalities like that “insufferable,” but others just get it and I feel like I get her for that reason.

    4. She’s gonna die sad and alone. It’s not what she says, it’s how she says it. Her whole personality is an ick, which is sad, as there is potential. She was beautiful, but this personality is like a stuck up high school queen. No one sane will want to fight that.

    5. I’m glad that she’s rubbing people the wrong way because it proves to me there are still people willing to shake norms up.
You can’t shake things up if you fall in line

    6. I think she's fly. Quirky, but fly. Perhaps she tries too hard to be "real" which you can see in how the longer the interview goes that's when she begins dropping the f-bombs. This is a thing with her. Maybe she's intentionally going against type? She's a global film star, an Oscar winning actress in great demand, and she's six-foot tall and staggeringly beautiful. She's trying to vibe with Rahma. Maybe a little too hard. For all that, I do think she'd be a riot to hang with. Maybe after "loving-making" (ha-ha) she'd chill. Who among us will ever know?

    7. Damn son. That was just unfunny. I think the average rando you sit down next to is a damn deal more charming and insightful. Also I don't understand folks who drop their native accent like a hot potato.

    8. I just watched an interview with her today and she was so open and honest about her youth in SA and what happened to her and her mother. It was really eye opening and she trusted the interviewer and the interviewer was amazing and you should all watch it because she is an exceptional woman and mother.
