What a life upgrade! Awesome.
Always a hot take, but I love Alex. Even Simon. One of the few husbands on these shows who seems authentically in love with his wife. Are they weird? Yes. But they get each others “weird” and I always dug their vibe compared to all the others.
I know people love her now but she was HATED at the time.
She had a great youtube series shortly after she left housewives where she would watch reality shows then break them down From a bts lense of what she thought really happened, they’re all pretty short like 5-8 minutes and she gives great insight into the types of ticks and manipulations producers and editors employ to create these types of shows, and even gives a few perosnal bts of early seasons rhony here and there. They’re worth a watch if anyone’s intrested, though I’m sure things have changed in the reality tv world in the last 10-12 years so some stuff may be outdated but still a really inteesting insight to mechanisms of early reality tv and specifically early housewives shows.
She’s looking amazing, literally glowing in these photos. It’s nice to see someone come through the reality machine (especially someone who got as much hate as she her family did) and move on with their lives to bigger and better things with their family all still intact.
i’m genuinely happy for her! not only did she escape from the clutches of andy but she actually went ahead to do something non reality tv related. proud of you alex
