Rachel Entrekin has made history as the first woman to win the Cocodona 250, shattering the overall course record by over three hours in a time of 56:09:48. Shattering the previous men’s course record by over 2.5 hours and her own previous women’s course record by over 7.5 hours!

I just finished a 5 mile hike and now I’m icing, so this seems absolutely bonkers to me. Congrats to her!
That’s insane
Wait how long is this? 250 miles? 250km? How in the world did she beat her own previous record by 7.5 hours? That’s like skipping a night of sleep? Any more information available about what kind of event this was?
This is a 3Peat for Rachel, but first overall win ahead of the men’s winner.
She’s an absolute animal. Did this on 19 mins of sleep according to her post race interview.
I truly cannot fathom that… what an insane thing to accomplish at all, let alone set the world record in
Went on a date with a person who was in the Ultra marathon scene a few years back. I was schocked learning she did these even at an amateur / rec level. Needless to say we were not a match. Kudos to anyone who does these.
She is incredible
That’s incredible. That record is never gonna be broken.👏🏻🎉👏🏻🎉👏🏻🎉
I’m sure this is great but If she’d just won the Barkley marathons she would not be so energetic.
As an 8 time marathoner the second my watch hits 26.2 I’m tapped the fuck outttt.
Bless.
Can someone explain how that’s physically possible lol
This is insane. A rather young race event (think it’s only been around a few years now) and they are getting faster and faster at finishing. She is SO badass Killian was over an hour behind her which is a pretty sizable gap. If I read the map correctly there are still runners out there who haven’t even crossed the 200 mile mark yet.
~13 min/mi pace over 2+ days. Amazing

Why do we have to put shitty music over every video?
Wow… that’s fucking impressive… I see what the 250 means now 🥴🫣
Meanwhile someone else died while running it…

I was listening to this story that talks about how women are better built for these longer endurance races. This could very well be the start of women having all the leading times and men struggling to catch up.
She looks fine too. Second place finisher looks like he’s about to die
Why doesn’t she look tired at all
She’s amazing! That’s actually insane. And as an aside, something like this is my version of hell 🫠
Nice
Ultrarunners are built different. I admire all the women who do them like Courtney Dauwalter and Jasmin Paris. Now I have a new role model in Rachel Entrekin!! Well done her 🥰
