Kate Middleton has reportedly reached a turning point regarding the possibility of reconciling with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. According to royal insiders, the Princess of Wales no longer believes a family reunion will happen this summer. This comes after growing increasingly frustrated with what sources describe as the Sussexes’ “faux royal” public appearances overseas.

For years, Kate reportedly remained one of the few senior royals who still hoped tensions inside the family would eventually cool down. Behind palace walls, people often viewed her as a calming presence during the long-running fallout between Prince William and Harry. But insiders now claim she has run out of patience.
Sources close to the royal household say the Princess of Wales has struggled with what she sees as Harry and Meghan’s repeated attempts to mirror official royal engagements while operating outside the monarchy. “For a long time, Kate tried to rise above all the drama,” the source reportedly claimed. “She genuinely believed there was still a path toward some sort of peace between Sussexes and the royals.”
However, that perspective reportedly changed over time as the Sussexes continued to carry out highly publicized international visits and charity appearances following their departure from royal duties in 2020. The insider claimed Kate now views those appearances very differently.
“She now feels Meghan and Harry are deliberately blurring the lines between celebrity branding and royal duty while still cashing in on the status that comes with their titles,” the source alleged. According to insiders, that issue has become particularly difficult for Kate because she takes the responsibilities tied to royal life extremely seriously.
Prince Harry is expected to return to Britain in July for an Invictus Games event connected to next year’s competition. The visit could also mark Meghan’s first return to the UK in several years. But insiders now claim regarding Kate, “The constant public performances and image management have completely drained whatever patience or optimism she once had about rebuilding the relationship. In short, Kate has killed off the idea of a reunion with the Sussexes this summer.”
