I lost both my mother and father by 25, I didnt know this about him. glad he made life still worth living for himself.

  3. Losing people early in your life changes your perspective on all relationships. You cherish your time with loved ones a little more.

  4. I lost my father, brother, and mom by 23. I feel so seen and he is the voice of the villain in my favorite childhood Barbie movie 💖

I lost my mom at 27 and it fundamentally changed me as a person. I just barely made it through, but I’m not sure I could have at 21.

    Losing someone is something else.

As a 5th grader a friend passed away in a car accident and that week still lives with me every year even in my 40s.

My mom passed away a few months ago and as I reflect, as someone who works in mental health, god bless. I now see she had unresolved grief from my grandmother passing away and while I don’t feel guilty that I didn’t see it…it’s heavy.

There’s a theory called the “wounded healer” theory and I’m starting to lean into it a bit more and it’s interesting.

You truly don’t know grief like that until you experience it. I knew this about him and knowing my grief right now, seriously, the amount he has been carrying forever and what he does for the world as a whole. Bless him. We should be thanking him and honoring all the rest he takes.

Only child here; lost my dad, uncle, both first cousins, aunt, grandparents on both sides by the time I was 30. Only my mom and I left. My heart goes out to him, and all of my fellow people suffering significant losses at a younger age.

He lost his brother when he was 12, his mom when he was 18, and his dad when he was 21. Woof, that’s awful.

Omg! I didn’t know his personal life was so sad. He’s been so funny. I’m sure his parents would have been so proud. His daughter’s death is even more tragic.
