Sarah Ferguson was once in a relationship with rapper P Diddy, it has been claimed. P Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, reportedly first met Sarah Ferguson in New York in 2002.
It has been claimed that the meeting happened at a party hosted by Ghislaine Maxwell. Diddy and Sarah reportedly kicked it off, starting a ‘secret friends with benefits’ relationship in 2004.
It is believed this relationship lasted for years.
As claimed by Andrew Lownie in The Daily Mail, the rapper was obsessed with Sarah, with a former employee at P Diddy’s Bad Boy Records claiming that the singer would brag about “slamming” Sarah.
Lownie said Diddy even once reportedly said “he could not wait until Fergie’s daughters come of age”.
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie met the rapper a number of times with their mother, it is claimed.
Someone else who knew the singer also said that his perfume Unforgivable, which he launched in 2006, was also reportedly inspired by Sarah and how she liked a man to smell.
It is believed that the duchess and rapper met many times in Europe and Africa, with one source saying: “They’d meet in luxurious hotels… They once stayed at a seven-star hotel that was over £50,000 a night. They spared no expense.”
Sarah Ferguson has been approached for comment on the relationship she reportedly had with Diddy.
In 2025, Diddy was found guilty on two counts of transportation for prostitution and sentenced to 50 months in prison.
Lownie claims a Palace source said: “Look at her long history; every man she dated or associated with had a controversial past – they all have sleazy and chequered pasts. She likes to live on the edge. She can’t settle down with a good man. It would bore her to tears.’”
