Danhausen is scheduled to team up with a mystery partner against The Miz and Kit Wilson at WWE Backlash 2026. Ahead of the event, CM Punk is the betting odds favorite to be Danhausen’s tag team partner.
However, Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com noted the following: “I can’t confirm this but I am hearing speculation that the mystery partner for Danhausen is, in fact, Jelly Roll, which would make a LOT more sense than an unadvertised PLE appearance by CM Punk.”
WWE reportedly had plans for Cody Rhodes and Jelly Roll vs. Randy Orton and Pat McAfee at Backlash. However, McAfee opted out of WWE storylines after WrestleMania 42.
