King Charles is reportedly “delighted” following a pregnancy announcement from a member of the British royal family earlier today.
On May 4, Princess Eugenie confirmed she is expecting her third child. The royal, who holds 12th place in the line of succession to the throne, currently has two sons with her husband, Jack Brooksbank.
The 36-year-old is already mom to August, five, and Ernest, two, both of whom are said to be “very excited” about the arrival of their new sibling.
A spokesperson shared the news via a Facebook post on the royal family’s page, stating: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer.

“August (aged 5) and Ernest (aged 2) are also very excited to have another sibling join the family. His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news.”, reports the Express US.
Accompanying the announcement was a heartwarming photo of August and Ernest gazing down as they hold the baby scan image — a picture Eugenie also shared on her personal Instagram account.
The announcement’s timing is particularly special, as it coincides with Jack’s 40th birthday, which he celebrated on May 3.
To mark the milestone, Eugenie broke her social media silence, treating followers to a series of affectionate snapshots on Instagram on Sunday. To mark the occasion, Eugenie posted several heartwarming snapshots to her Instagram Story, the first capturing Jack relaxing on the beach, accompanied by the words, “Happy 40th, my love.”

A second image featured Jack spending time with one of their children, while a third, older photograph of the couple together carried the caption, “Here’s to another 16…x.”
Eugenie, the daughter of former Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, rounded off the photo series with a final picture of the two on a beach.
Following the announcement of Jack and Eugenie’s third child, royal admirers were swift to pour out their congratulations and warm wishes for the couple.
“Congratulations, Your Royal Highness,” one person wrote, accompanied by several clapping emojis. A second fan added, “Congratulations! I wish you lots of strength and courage for the future. Don’t let yourself get down.”

The pregnancy announcement comes just days after Eugenie’s uncle, King Charles, left the United States following his visit.
During his four-day stay, King Charles traveled to Washington, D.C., where he attended a garden party at the British Ambassador’s residence.
He also delivered a landmark address to members of Congress, during which he subtly called out Donald Trump. Finally, he attended a state dinner, where Fox News’s Jesse Watters confessed he delivered a somewhat tongue-in-cheek remark to Queen Camilla.
This follows news that the female Kentucky Derby trailblazer was compelled to surrender a substantial portion of her prize money immediately.
