A top-tier British female celebrity has been left reeling after a massive security breach reportedly exposed a secret fling with a legendary sportsman through a haul of racy snaps. The victim, described as a “high-profile personality and entrepreneur,” allegedly fell prey to a digital creep who used stalkerware to hijack her personal life.
The cyber-stalker managed to harvest a staggering 86,859 screenshots from her phone, including everything from TikTok chats to intimate romantic exchanges.
However, the creep’s plan is said to have backfired spectacularly. Due to a sloppy setup, the massive cache of data was left wide open for anyone on the internet to find.

Cybersecurity expert Jeremiah Fowler stumbled upon the digital harvest, which had been sitting exposed for at least a fortnight. Alongside the scandalous messages, the haul contained mundane invoices and receipts that confirmed the star’s identity.
The Sun reports that the data blew the lid off a secret romance between the Brit celeb and a household-name sportsman.
Speaking about the discovery, Mr Fowler said: “They were both married. The type of data that was there would have been very damaging. It was clear there was an affair going on with a prominent public person.”
He warned that while the media hasn’t previously reported the fling, the length of time the files were public means the secret might not stay secret for long.
He added: “It is highly possible that someone else accessed them and may release them at a later date or attempt to use them for some sort of extortion.”
The hacker used a notorious tool called Cocospy to worm their way into the celeb’s device. The app, marketed for “parental control,” features a stealth mode that can snap screenshots every few minutes without the user ever knowing.
Cocospy and two similar apps were taken offline last year following a separate security disaster that leaked the data of millions.
In the UK, creeps caught using such tech to harass others can face the full force of the law under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.
Tech journalist Will Guyatt warned that these types of targeted hits are rarely random. He said: “These things are most often used in abusive relationships, and relationships of coercive control.”
Writing for ExpressVPN, Mr Fowler concluded that while this case involves public figures, the danger is real for everyone. He said: “My goal in publishing these findings is to raise awareness about the risks posed by stalkerware.”
