Returning for its fifth annual edition, the Gold Gala rolled out its gold carpet at The Music Center in Los Angeles last night, transforming the venue into what has come to be known as the “Asian Met Gala.” The tentpole event celebrated another year of work and achievements from Asian and Pacific Islander leaders, honoring the organization’s Gold100 recipients across a unique cross-industry range of fields, including entertainment and media, business and technology, fashion and lifestyle, social impact, and sports and gaming. But the night wasn’t just about awards and recognition—after honoring special guests and celebrities, the evening opened into a huge party complete with free-flowing Hennessy cocktails. And that means great fashion, too.
