Fox News covering the White House is the real life comedy show.

All of the people there including Trump are clowns cosplaying as government officials.

Not long ago, the Fox network approached the producers of The Simpsons with a simple request – 35 new shows to fill a few holes in their programming lineup.

I want to point and laugh but it’s not just Fox, it’s everyone. Ad rates have fallen off a cliff while all the ancillary revenue streams – syndication, DVDs cable – have mostly dried up. And (while this is less of an issue in Fox’s case) it turns out keeping all your shows for your own streaming service is a lot less profitable than letting Netflix or someone else license them – the ten or twenty bucks a subscriber pays a month isn’t nearly enough when amortized across all of the streamer’s content.

Things are broken, and no one seems to know how to fix them.
