Since American media is refusing to cover this story, 60 Minutes Australia did on Sunday, interviewing four of the five Cascio siblings who are accusing Michael Jackson of molestation and abuse over a span of roughly a decade.
A summary of the special:
- Previously staunch defenders of Jackson regarding his inappropriate relationships with children, the Cascio siblings now say they were each privately abused by Jackson. They say they never shared their secret with each other until the release of the 2019 documentary Leaving Neverland.
- The Cascio siblings were all children when Jackson took a special interest in their family, at one point living in their average New Jersey home for three months.
- Among the horrific claims: masturbation, oral and penetrative sex, constant proclamations and demands of love, disturbing "games" like one Jackson called 'booty rumble,' and an allegation by the youngest sibling that Jackson drank his urine as a private show of devotion.
- The one girl said she was 12 when Jackson convinced her to undress in front of him, telling her it was "normal."
- Jackson remained close to the siblings even after he was arrested in 2003 following allegations of abuse made by another teenage boy.
- At the time, Jackson said that police had brutally manhandled him during the arrest. One of the Cascio siblings says Jackson pressured him to create bruises and Jackson's claim was a lie.
- The siblings say Jackson used alcohol and prescription drugs to lower their inhibitions and maintain control.
In a statement to 60 Minutes, attorney Marty Singer accused the Cascios of engaging in a “desperate money grab” and the family “consistently and repeatedly asserted that Michael never harmed any of them or anyone else.”
“Notably, these shakedown attempts come more than 15 years after Michael’s death, thus carrying no risk of being sued for defamation. Sadly, in death just as in life, Michael’s talents and success continue to make him a target."
The number of known Jackson victims is currently at 11.

I think Michael was extremely talented and brought so much to culture and his fame made him both an easy target and an easy potential predator. Disappointed the Jackson family continues to attempt to cover up the misdeeds perpetrated by Michael.

The audacity of these perverts to take photographs with their victims. It’s almost as if he knew he would never face any consequences for his actions.
Start holding the parents legally accountable too! Same with the Epstein victims parents! There’s no words for how horrific this is. Worst, we laughed about these allegations and never treated them as we should have at the time.
Worse, I am enraged that I am no longer surprised to find another famous person has abused others.

It’s really hard to understand people who continue to defend Michael. Just say you don’t actually care about crimes against children. Or that you only care if they didn’t make Thriller. The pictures made my stomach sink.

It’s very telling that Paris Jackson is reaching out to those who came forward, and tabloid rags are dragging her through the mud. Making it seem like she is unreliable because she has a substance use disorder, that she is now in recovery from.
Many of the accounts about one of the sisters of the victims matches up with certain things Paris has disclosed as well.

Additionally he selected his victims carefully. He lulled them into a false sense of security (the parents) and continued to push boundaries a bit more, having the babies lie to their parents, who were starstruck that THEE Michael Jackson seemed to take interest in THEIR families. He groomed them into a false sense of security just as much as he did to those who preyed on and abused.
Of course others will say it was for cash, and HE KNEW that too. Everything he did up to a point was calculated.
Even Sean Lennon has a song speculated to be about him and his time with Michael until he was also discarded.

Putting this horrifying pic in its own comment. I was an in denial fan for such a long time and even cried when he died, but as an adult I’m glad the blinders fell off.
He was a damaged person – but he was also a monster that did terrible things to children. I wish MJ was still alive to rot in prison for his crimes, but since he’s in hell, I’ll have to settle for never shutting up about his victims and not giving his estate a single red dime.

If this were any other celebrity they would be rightfully cancelled. Why is he exempt from that? Why can’t people see he was a predator just like all the other people in Hollywood.
