Julia Fox and Nora Fried have started the nonprofit ‘Rosebuds reading collective’ which brings book clubs and writers workshops to incarcerated women.

      That’s really cool. Always nice to see people think of prisons as spaces for learning and change rather than just as dark pits of constant torment.

      This is awesome! just want to also bump that Noname, the rapper, has had a really awesome radical book club turned nonprofit effort to send books to incarcerated folks. They sent over 1300 books to incarcerated folks last month. Glad to see celebrities supporting our incarcerated community members

      This is amazing! Incarcerated women don’t have enough access to books, so I’m really happy they are doing this. I’m going to spread this info far and wide and see if I can get any authors to donate.
