In news that can only be described as “we probably should’ve seen this coming,” Jamie Foxx is gearing up to welcome a new member into his family. But unfortunately for him, the news isn’t getting that much of a warm welcome from his fans. Don’t worry, we’ll explain.
As you already know, Foxx is a father to two daughters already from two different, previous relationships, Corrine and Anelise. Now, it looks like they’ll both be older sisters to Foxx’s impending child with whom he’s about to welcome with his girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp, as reported by TMZ on Tuesday.
The longtime actor and Huckstepp were first romantically involved in 2023 and dated for two years before breaking up in the latter part of 2025, Entertainment Weekly noted. However, it seems like whatever issues they had have been resolved enough for them to partner back up, get back on the good foot, and now prepare to welcome a new bundle of joy within the fold.
And while baby news would usually inspire many sentiments of joy and cheer, for fans of Foxx who took him at his word when he said in his popular 2024 Netflix special, “Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was…” that he was done dating white women—they’re feeling betrayed and dismayed. Why? Because Huckstepp is white, just like the mothers of his oldest children.

“Well, would you look at that… Pro-Black actor,singer and comedian, Jamie Fox — is having his 3rd child with yet another white woman.. So that makes 3 children with 3 different white women,” said another.
One other user added, “That’s literally the only thing I don’t like about Jamie foxx. Like he literally has never dated a black woman and that suckssss so bad.. willingly choosing to inherit into yt ppl is crazy!!”
Noted another person in part: “Eric Bishop has always preferred White women. All of his children are from White women. Foxx is the entertainment persona.”
But here’s where we have to have some real talk. Why, on Earth, did you really take Foxx seriously when he said he’d been cured from dating white women? Number one, he’s a comedian; it’s a joke. Number two, it’s Jamie Foxx and he has a long dating history of being romantically involved with almost exclusively white women. Did you really think he had some grand epiphany that would make him shift his preference?
Number three, you should’ve already known the “Ray” star was on some BS when he was spotted out with a group of white women at an album release party just eight months after declaring his false allegiance to dating Black women. From blondes to brunettes, the folks in Foxx’s entourage were clearly non-melanated—but that’s unfortunately par for the course for the Oscar-winning actor. In a hilarious twist, just one month after the aforementioned special aired, Netflix later dropped his action film, which featured him with … a white wife (namely Cameron Diaz). So why are we acting so surprised in the year of our Lord, 2026 at this new news?
And furthermore, why should we even take it as a slight in the first place? Since Foxx has come on the scene, he’s seemingly been pro-Black, supported Black projects and artists, championed black causes, and has rarely been seen or heard disparaging Black women.
For all intents and purposes, he’s pretty pro-Black and doesn’t cause a ruckus. So if he wants to bring kids into this world with and date white women, who really cares? Just as long as he keeps it cute with the community and continues to remember where he came from, let him have his snow bunnies! We truly have bigger issues to be concerned with.
