A glamorous red carpet appearance nearly took a chaotic turn for Brooks Nader after she revealed suffering a wardrobe malfunction moments before arriving at the 2026 Fox Upfronts. Nader later shared that her dress unexpectedly broke while she was still in the car on the way to the New York City event.
Despite the stressful situation, she managed to pull herself together in time for photos and appearances. The model also gave fans a candid look at the last-minute scramble through social media posts after the event.
Brooks Nader shares her dress ‘broke’ right before arriving at 2026 Fox Upfronts
Brooks Nader said the fashion mishap happened only minutes before she stepped onto the carpet. According to the 29-year-old, the zipper on her red dress suddenly popped open while she was traveling to the Fox Upfronts, forcing her team to act quickly.
“What a lot of people don’t know is this dress broke in the car two minutes before I pulled up,” Nader told PEOPLE at the event. She added that the zipper was no longer functional, meaning her team had to sew her directly into the outfit before she arrived.
Instead of appearing flustered, the model seemed to take the situation in stride. “What would me be without chaos? Makes sense,” she joked while reflecting on the unexpected moment.
Nader later documented the ordeal on Instagram Stories. In one image, the back of her dress appeared ripped open while assistants attempted emergency repairs. “When you bust out of your dress 4 mins before showtime!!!” she wrote alongside the image. Another post showed multiple people gathered around her, stitching the gown back together before she headed inside.
The wardrobe malfunction did not stop Brooks Nader from making an appearance alongside her castmates from the upcoming “Baywatch” reboot. At the event, she posed with stars including Shay Mitchell and Livvy Dunne while promoting the highly anticipated project. The reboot is expected to debut in early 2027.
