Kratos — a ghost of his own past — lives in exile within the northern realms, trying to leave war behind forever. But an ancient force awakens a new conflict between gods, and the destruction that began in Greece starts spreading across other worlds.
As haunting visions of Athena begin to torment him, and Zeus — having survived the fall of Olympus — returns seeking vengeance, the old cycle of violence ignites once again. Realms collapse, ancient temples burn, and reality itself begins to fracture under the clash of gods.
To stop the end of all realms, Kratos must confront not only the gods of Olympus, but the rage within himself — the same rage that once destroyed an entire civilization.
