Chris Rock glad didn't get the role of Donkey in Shrek he went another voiced zebra Marty In Franchise Of Madagascar 2005-2012
At least Chris Rock starred in another Dreamworks franchise
Chris Rock also turned down the role of Daxter in Jak and Daxter before Max Casella was chosen.
Chris Rock’s voice don t fit on Donkey’s.
We don’t want someone who thinks insulting people is funny in a Disney movie keep dreaming Chris you deserved that slap by the way 🙄
Chris Rock did voice Marty, but voicing Donkey would make Donkey sound different and still funny like how Eddie Murphy did. Good thing he turned it down.
