This is one of those *”Batman couldn’t beat that information out of me”* things.
It’s a shame how awful modern beauty standards are and how we’re probably never going to have a conversation about where a lot of those standards came from because of how uncomfortable the greater context is.
Weāre at the far end of a domino effect that was started by late ā00s/early ā10s online entrepreneurs and e-commerce startups being too cheap and lazy to do actual marketing or hire actual models, and instead just paid literal strippers and sex workers to shill their products on social media; sometimes just being paid in the products themselves.

At the end, she mentions that people didnāt always talk about her lips when she first started getting it done. Does she mean during her first few filler appointments? People get filler all the time and people donāt necessarily notice because they donāt have a lot. Sheās at the point where itās impossible not to notice.

I feel like Kylie Jenner is like that too. I donāt get it. I donāt watch Euphoria so I canāt speak for this woman, but with Kylie, when you see her speak from a side angle, it looks so unnatural, the entire āmustache areaā above the upper lip is inflated and looks weird.

IMO this is also on the doctors. If you have gotten Botox so much that your facial muscles are atrophying, the doctor should be the one saying “no, I cannot in good faith continue this”. But who knows, this may have happened and she probably just found someone that would do it anyway.

At a certain point with injectables (and this is why I feel they may not be as great as they seem), your connective tissue has to literally be torn away to make room for the filler. When you get injectables you literally hear and feel the popping sensation of this tissue being torn apart. With lips I get the sense that eventually after youāve torn all that tissue youāre left with empty lips you have to keep filling? Numbing isnāt just for pain as itās for tolerating that sensation.
lip fillers clearly aren’t fashionable anymore like they were 10 years ago. We’re now in the time where we will see the real time effects on people who had a lot of lip fillering done.
Is Zendaya the only person who has been on this show that seems generally quite level headed?
Her lips do look ridiculous though. They take up most of her face and they look so big that they kind of droop down :/
