Ten days on from TOWIE star Jake Hall’s tragic death, new details have emerged, painting a grim picture of his last hours. The reality star, who friends say had been dealing with mental health issues in his final months, was found in his rented villa on the island of Majorca.
Jake, who died aged 35, had called the Balearic spot his “healing island”. Having lived there as a child while his parents invested in property, as an adult, he spent long summers there. His last trip to Majorca started when he travelled to the small town of Santa Margalida on Tuesday 5 May, with a group of friends.

The unnamed pals had spent time partying at the villa, before heading to the island’s capital, Palma, around a 40-minute drive away from where they were staying. The friends returned to the villa, which was reportedly rented out in just his name, in the early hours of the morning.

He posted a video on Instagram during the party, showing clips of him and his eight-year-old daughter River, who he shared with ex Misse Beqiri. Jake wrote on his last ever post: “Life is b******s sometimes but I’m gonna try to remember the good things.”
According to new reports, a neighbour passed the property on foot at 4.40am as they headed to work, noticing the group were playing loud music and that the front door’s shutters were open. When another local passed at 6.30am, the party was reportedly still raging on.
But just 45 minutes after, at around 7.15am, another neighbour, a 70-year-old construction worker, reportedly heard a huge commotion. He claims to have heard loud bangs and glass smashing, with the previously blaring music stopping suddenly – the street plunged into an eerie silence.
The witness, known as Rafael, recalled that morning, saying he heard “no screams”, and ran into the property to help. He said: “I could then see a body lying on the patio surrounded by a pool of blood.”
Rafael stated that Jake’s friends were in the street shouting for help, while he had cuts covering his body, particularly on his arms. Someone had covered his body with a T-shirt, with the passer-by adding: “He also had glass shards lodged in his neck and chest. There was a big red mark on his head.”
Although Rafael, and later paramedics, tried to save him, there was nothing they could do to help Jake. Contrary to reports, he added that there were no signs of drugs or alcohol in the property. Although a private autopsy has been carried out, the nature of Hall’s death means it is likely to be referred to the coroner on return to the UK, which would produce a toxicology report and official cause of death.
Jake’s friends are reported to have been concerned about his mental health in previous months and he reportedly previously made attempts to take his own life. The TV star was said to be around £1.5m in debt.
