The 2026 Trophée Chopard Ceremony was held this week during the Cannes Film Festival, where Odessa A’zion was honoured as a rising star in film.

    Crystal Fringe Glamour

Demi Moore continues her flawless Cannes run in Tamara Ralph Spring 2026 Couture. The crystal fringe detailing and feathered stole delivered the kind of high-octane glamour we come to expect at Cannes. Last time out she was the godmother of Cannes; this time she is the Queen.

From Baby Blue To Pretty In Pink

Barbara Palvin went blue in Miu Miu earlier this week, and now she has switched gears completely in Willy Chavarria. There is a huge amount of volume here, especially through the sleeves, but I have to say I love this. A lot of that comes down to the sugary pink shade and the styling. I’ll take a lot of volume over the last two looks, which didn’t do her justice.

    Lost In Proportion

If you were to ask me, I would say that this Bottega Veneta sequinned top, shirt, and leather Intrecciato feathered trousers from the Fall 2026 collection would have been a perfect fit for Tracee Ellis Ross. I think she would have had a much easier time selling the oversized proportions than Chloé Zhao. Everything, excluding the Bottega Veneta Sabato pumps, needed sizing down here.

    Gothic And Glamorous

Isabelle Huppert stepped back into her gothic Parisian comfort zone wearing a black lace Gucci gown. Between the dark texture, razor-sharp silhouette, and oversized sunglasses, this felt entirely on-brand for her. At this point, nobody commits to this aesthetic with more consistency.

    Quiet Elegance

Leïla Bekhti wore Alaïa, delivering one of the night’s more understated moments. The draped black gown and textured knit added subtle depth, while the relaxed styling kept the overall mood effortless. After so many exaggerated silhouettes during Cannes, this felt refreshingly straightforward.

    Menswear Momentum

There was a mixed reaction to Odessa A’zion wearing Dior menswear on the red carpet for the Karma premiere, and she revisited the idea here, albeit in a completely different fabric. Despite the super-long trousers, I’m once again into this look on her. My only concern now is that this could quickly become a default formula, because I still want to see more range from her during this festival run, and in general.

    A Colour Shift

Riley Keough wore the same Conner Ives Fall 2024 dress previously seen on Raye at the 2024 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards. I prefer the presentation here, and I especially love seeing Riley in a colour that is not blush or black.

    Disco Cape Energy

Ruth Negga wore Ossie Clark, bringing a vintage-inspired glamour moment to the event. The silver mirrored bust detailing instantly pulled focus, while the flowing white cape added drama without overwhelming the look. It had a distinct Studio 54 energy that felt unexpected alongside the more classic Cannes gowns.
