At Cannes, Women Directors Still Struggle to Break the “Auteur Glass Ceiling”

      Some of the best indie films of the past few years have been directed by women, cinema and more broadly art is all about taking in another person’s perspective so it’s always great for their to be a bigger variety of perspectives making art. I hope within my lifetime the very large gap is closed and women don’t find it so hard to get their films made and shown.
