As a GenX, I read the quote the way the FNC ding dong did but I just shrugged it off because, “I mean, yeah, that was most of 80s movies.” So much gratuitous nudity… XD
I really hope *Boosters* is good and does well. *Sorry to Bother You* was… well… I’ve never seen anything like it before or since and that’s a really good thing!

Sweating Boots over her inability to follow replies harder than she ever sweated her “church” that is nothing but a systematic child raping network at this point.

It’s okay for them not to like you Boots, they prefer pedos.

The faux outrage that people from different sides have tried to aim at Boots Riley on Twitter lately has been so ??? I mean not only from conservatives, but also people trying to “shame” him for his movie being produced by Annapurna (owned by Megan Ellison). Being critical of capitalism *and* exist within the confines of capitalism will always be difficult.

Not trying to totally miss the point here, but who in the world refers to 10 year olds as teenagers? Not saying anything was meant by it at all, I’ve just never heard anyone refer to a kid under 13 as a teenager.

I got to see this movie in early screening with Boots Riley giving a talk afterwords and it was absolutely incredible / amazing, 10/10/10/10/10 perfection of a film, please please please go see it opening weekend in theaters! Boots really emphasized that the only reason he’s been able to make these sorts of movies is because WE are showing up to see them (and using our $$$ to speak)

Can parents not also read a review of a movie or do a quick google search before deciding whether to bring their kids? This is exhausting

Does this idiot think you can’t have parents after the age of 18? Can’t tell if she’s willingly stupid or if it’s genetic.
People are just blatantly antiblack and trying to jeopardize the art black people make. It’s giving what they tried to do to Sinners.
>”It’s ok to see I Love Boosters with your parents.”
He’s clearly addressing the reader. Who tf does she think is reading Deadline?
