After seeing the trailer and the first “joke” being “IT’S THEY/THEM NOT MAAM” I’m not hopeful for this one

I think those first two posters will be funnier than the actual movie.

They’re going a Ma parody? 😬

It’s like this movie has an anti-marketing campaign.

Glad to see them lampooning cultural phenomenon like “Ma.”

The Backrooms poster has me suddenly yearning for a Backrooms focused parody where a group faces progressively weirder Smiling Friends-type shit as they go deeper in. That would almosy be worth a film of its own.

I love the shit out of the Scary Movie franchise, but I cannot get excited about this one at all. I completely zoned out at the boomer ass joke about pronouns that my 75 year old dad wouldn’t even laugh at.

AI couldn’t write better than this, have better scene direction, or even make better marketing materials than anything that has come out so far for this movie. In a way this makes me hopeful for the future of the entertainment industry. We need more bad movies again.

I won’t be paying for this movie but I will admit the “Anna Faris accidentally agreed to do another….” joke made me giggle.

If the jokes weren’t all boomer humor maybe it would have stood a chance. Should have passed this down. That joke at the start of the trailer is so cringe.

I will eat a shoe if this turns out to be good.
