Pete Davidson’s former Staten Island condo neighbors have nothing but love for the comedian.

Months after the “Saturday Night Live” alum, 32, sold his luxury waterfront pad in St. George, the president of the building’s condo board is calling Davidson the “perfect neighbor” and revealing how the comic went out of his way to be respectful to residents despite his celebrity status.

“He was polite, he was nice to everyone,” Christopher Campbell, president of the Accolade Condominium at 90 Bay Street Landing, told SILive.com. “If he’s on the elevator and he doesn’t know the person, he would introduce himself, and people just thought of him as their neighbor.”

Campbell — who lived near Davidson for several years — also recalled how the “King of Staten Island” star tried to minimize disruptions when famous guests visited the building, including ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

“When he was dating [Kim Kardashian], she would come here… and he thought of his neighbors, and he didn’t want to have an entourage blocking the front entrance, so he would take the side door to be polite,” Campbell said.

“He used to bring his celebrity friends, so you never know who you’re going to meet in the building. Miley Cyrus has been here, Kid Cudi, Machine Gun Kelly.”

One memorable interaction even involved a young fan repeatedly ringing Davidson’s doorbell late at night shortly after he moved in.

“There was a young girl that was ringing his doorbell at like one o’clock in the morning, and I’m the president in the building,” Campbell explained.

“So I said, ‘Well, what do you want to do? You want me to speak to the mother?’ He said, ‘Nah, it’s just a young girl, she’s excited, she’ll realize I’m just Pete,’ and that’s exactly what happened,” Campbell continued. “He had such a nice way about him.”

The condo board president revealed that he later penned Davidson a heartfelt farewell letter.

He thanked him for being “friendly, approachable and respectful to everyone around” him, and praised the actor for bringing “a special energy” to the building.

Davidson originally purchased the nearly 1,600-square-foot condo for $1.2 million in 2020 before eventually selling it this month at a significant loss after multiple price cuts and renovations.

The sale came amid news that he and girlfriend Elsie Hewitt called it quits just months after welcoming their first child together, a baby girl named Scottie.
