These guys acting, especially Anthony Starr, is phenomenal. 👌 world class act
One thing I loved about this season was their every scene together. When they would walk together and Homelander would just kind of be in the background observing, and listening, and using his facial expressions while watching Soldier Boy in bewilderment. He was also refreshingly humbled at all times when with Soldier boy. I liked their Dynamic a lot

TWO WORDS: Character assassination. Soldier boy used to be goated in s3 but in s5 he is nothing but a disappointment that his father said he was. I blame the writers more than anything else tbh

This genuinely pissed me off, even before he got powers he was literally a trained soldier, he could've flipped him, eye gouged him, hell he literally could've just bit into his arm, definition of lazy writing cause i would've loved to see them fight again, even if homelander won it still would've been better
