The best thing about those cartoons, we weren't as sensitive as the generations after us. We accepted people for who they were and they were not afraid to be themselves. Great cartoons.
Before movie trailers, these cartoons used to play before the movie actually came on. It was years later where they made these into children’s cartoons. But these were previously adult themed.
A humorless “comedian” who finds Bugs, Daffy and Tweety “creepy”. Gee, the Easter Bunny, too, I bet. searching the world with all the insight of a neighborhood Karen.
This guy doesn't understand anything other than attempting to make people laugh about old cartoons that are better than almost anything on tv now. A lot of people grew up on those cartoons without getting buttt hurt over things like they do now.
Ah, yes. Bugs in blackface begging not to be whipped, then as Lincoln scolding the aggressor for "whipping slaves" Elmer Fudd and Daffy getting shotgun blasts in the face Good times 😅
I loved my Saturday morning cartoons, we knew what was right and wrong. I want to give Scooby Doo some props…shaggy and scooby always having the munchies…c’ mon. 😂
Grew up watching ALL of those things and still knew right from wrong. I know this is a joke but people actually have serious conversations about these things. And instead of creating good empathetic better children now a days they create children that pretend to be empathetic when they are all actually assholes. The cartoons you watch doesn't have as much effect on you as you think. Media becomes a problem when it becomes your culture. Its not a problem if you just consume it as entertainment. As a kid IDGAF about the morality of any of these shows. I didn't even think about anything meaningful when watching these shows.
So here's the thing: Those "speech impediments" are how you tell one character from another when they are all played by the same guy. Porky Pig was the ONLY character whose "speech impediment" wasn't associated with his species. And he was NEVER ridiculed or set apart by any of the other characters for having it.

These cartoons aged just fine. It’s society that hasn’t aged well.😂
Is it Looney tunes that hasn't aged well, or could it be our society ?
"There's this mouse and he's Mexican."
And Mexicans love that mouse.
Oh, to go back in time, when we all knew the cartoon characters didnt really exist and we all laughed.
They aged fine. This generation just came out half baked.
(Searching for old Looney Tunes episodes)
They are called "looney" for a reason. Lol
Looney Tunes confronted the real issues of the common man.
Way to ruin yet another childhood memory…leave it alone
Those cartoons were genius.
Is this why the clueless delusional boomers were so, clueless delusional weirdos?

These were the best cartoons EVER! I still quote them to this very day!
That was the reason those shows were popular, and why people mostly watch Japanese cartoons today.

Yeah stick to Bluey with the kids, daddy.
A Chappell you will never be.
The war propaganda ones were even better… or worse depending on how you look at it.
Just goes to show how badly recent generations have become delicate little flowers.

The fact that most of the characters are based from the boss' of the artists makes it even more funny
