Once my oldest and I were talking about weight and I made an offhand comment about how I’ve always hated my body and she stopped me and said “Really? But you never said anything negative about it before.” I grew up with a mom that constantly berated both her and my weight, looks, personality, everything. I swore to myself that I would do it differently, so it was such a full circle moment for me. Young girls and women need to see normal bodies and eating habits, and need to be given the freedom to learn how to feel comfortable in the body they live in. It’s good to see a fellow tall girl talking about it too!

It really is super important. My sister doesn’t eat, like one eggo is a lot for her. Her son sees this and doesn’t eat either. She’s worried for him, but idk she’s not trying to fix the root. She somehow thinks just telling him to eat will make him eat. But when he leaves home and has no appetite she won’t realize she created this foundation.
Hannah Waddingham is GORGEOUS and FANTASTIC. I quote RuPaul when I say “She’s a lot of woman”.

My mom was a bodybuilder and my whole family was very involved with fitness in general. When I was a kid I would make an offhand comment about eating less of something because of calories or whatever and my mom would always say “What? You’re a kid, you’re fine.”
It really gave me a better view on fitness and eating when I saw my trainer mom enjoying pizza and donuts and encouraging me to do the same in moderation. The only other thing that upbringing did was totally skew my perspective on what a “muscular person” is compared to a regular person because I grew up around fucking hulks.

I’ve been going through a horrendously rough time and last night I had a dream that Hannah Waddingham and I were friends, hanging out and laughing and just being our radiant selves. Thank you, Hannah, for your inspirational existence

Powerful, important, inspiring. I want my daughter to have a health relationship with food. She sees my wife and I eat heartily and with smiles on our faces. There should be only joy in it

How do you wind up in a conversation about this? Like, defending your existence?

I started working in a secondary school recently (UK) and I am SHOCKED by the amount of people (well, girls) who don’t eat in public. They hide in the bathroom or don’t eat at all in school.

I love this woman
This is healthy. Too many almonds mums out there creating disordered eating, we see enough online we don’t need to see it in the home too
She is soo hot, i love her
