You can’t give up on yourself for someone else that’s how you create resentment and jealousy of what could’ve been. It’s not her fault that he chose to put his career in the back burner. It’s not her fault that he got jealous of her success. It’s certainly not her fault for his resentment. But I hope they both learned and healed from the experiences they shared together.
