Catherine and Prince William’s royal nanny appeared on Meghan Markle’s social media earlier this week.
The Duchess of Sussex marked eight years of marriage to Prince Harry by sharing a collection of monochrome photographs from their 2018 Windsor Castle nuptials on her personal Instagram account.
The 44-year-old captioned the images: “Eight years ago today”, crediting photographer Chris Allerton as “wonderful”.
While the selection appeared deliberately curated to avoid showing other members of the Royal Family, one familiar face emerged in several shots.

Maria Teresa Turrión Borrallo, the Norland-trained nanny employed by the Prince and Princess of Wales, was spotted in the background of multiple images, attending to the young royals during the ceremony.
The nanny was tasked with supervising Prince George, aged four at the time, who served as a page boy, alongside three-year-old Princess Charlotte, who performed bridesmaid duties.
Rather than wearing her customary Norland College uniform, Ms Borrallo opted for an understated navy dress for the occasion.
One photograph captured her apparently engaged in conversation with the Duke of Sussex as his new wife looked on.

Her dedicated service to the Waleses was formally recognised earlier this year.
She received the Royal Victorian Medal in silver from Prince William during an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle, an honour bestowed for loyal service to the monarch or Royal Family members.
The Sussexes marked their wedding anniversary at their Montecito residence with their two children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, four, following the duchess’s recent visit to Geneva.
Prince Harry presented Meghan with a penguin statue and a lemon and elderflower cake for the occasion, which was a nod to the couple’s wedding cake from 2018.

Meghan also shared an Instagram post featuring several images of the newlyweds commanding the dance floor at their reception, as well as a shot of them sharing a kiss surrounded by wedding guests.
Some photographs had previously appeared in the couple’s 2022 Netflix documentary, though others were being shared publicly for the first time.
The 2018 ceremony, attended by celebrities including Oprah Winfrey and Serena Williams, remains among the most-watched royal occasions in history.
