Insider says Prince Harry and Meghan Markle didn’t receive message from Royal Family
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary, and things seemed picture-perfect on the outside. However, things were not as smooth behind closed doors.
Insider reports state that no contact by any member of the royal family, privately or otherwise, reached Meghan and Harry.
“There was no phone call, no private message, no peace offering — absolutely nothing,” one insider told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice, “The silence was very intentional.”
Meghan celebrated the landmark anniversary by sharing intimate family moments online. This included a video of Harry presenting her with a lemon elderflower cake and a penguin statue. This was a nod to the penguin onesies that they wore in their engagement.
However, the photos did not feature any other members of the royal family. “That omission did not go unnoticed,” a source added, “The photos focused entirely on Harry and Meghan. It was like the royals had been erased from the story.”
This comes as rumors about “Project Thaw” continue. This is allegedly an effort by Harry to ease tensions with King Charles and Prince William after a very public fallout.
“Harry keeps sending signals through the media about reconciliation,” another insider said, “But many inside the family think this is more about winning the PR narrative than genuinely rebuilding trust.”
“There’s still enormous hurt, anger, and suspicion,” the insider added, “Moments like this don’t heal the divide — they expose how wide it still is.”
