“Rockstar” is a stretch for someone I’ve never heard of

A very very very very minor figure.

As a gay man, I find this icky af, so he wastes some woman’s life because he can’t be true to himself? And then gets called a Proud Gay Rock Star? I don’t think.

I knew the article wasn’t about Kid Rock because the headline mentioned ‘rockstar.’

Beartooth rocks, good for him.

I misread the title as The Rock coming out, which would have been more interesting.

Calebs dad was a pastor and he grew up in a church and was vocal on what that did to him. He’s been through a lot.

Rockstar, never heard of em.
“Proudly” yet married to a woman for 14 years. Why waste someone’s time like this?

So proud that he wasted a woman’s opportunity at having a real marriage?

Definitely a piece of shit for stringing his poor wife along all those years

Like, good for him that he gets to finally live authentically, but it’s weird to see people try to outright deny that he screwed with his soon-to-be-ex-wife’s life and say he’s not at least in part directly responsible for the pain he caused with his decisions. If he grew up in a homophobic religious environment, 100% chance it was also a deeply misogynist environment, which may have simultaneously led him to, consciously or not, minimize the harm he would be causing her by marrying her. People are kinda fine with this because we’re already conditioned to view women as justifiable collateral damage on the road to men’s self-actualization.
