I’m pretty sure that a show where they interview famous guests is classified as a Talk Show.

This man (Carr) is the author of Project 2025’s section pertaining to how the FCC needs to be restructured and why. Stop falling for these ridiculously coy articles and read the actual document this man authored and you’ll know what’s happening. It’s all cut and dry.

It’s a talk show that just so happens to be produced by the ABC News division. I forget exactly when, but at least a decade or so ago, The View went from being produced by ABC Entertainment to ABC News. Even though her show is syndicated by Disney/ABC, The Tamron Hall Show is also produced by ABC News.
Not defending Carr (who’s an absolute imbecile) and the FCC, but I’m just stating a matter of fact.
