I've straight-up told people, as the manager and as a driver, "I have X mount as change." If they say anything else, I return to the store with their money in hand. I don't fight, I don't argue. I've had the police called on me. Dominos records all calls, if they were told that the driver doesn't carry change for $50 or $100 bills, they forfeit their money. It becomes a tip at that point. I've been threatened with lawsuits, theft charges, etc. We make sure to tell people that the divers don't carry change for large bills. People don't listen/don't care. It then becomes their loss at that point. Worked for Dominos for 4 years, managed a Pizza Hut for 3, first job at 15 was at a private lotza motza pizza for 6 years. People don't want to listen because food delivery is seen as a low job, but that low job costs them more than they expect.
I've actually worked for Domino's and the policy is if you can't break $100 because we aren't supposed to carry more than $20 on us and give them the food and tell them to come pay for it later if not then they just get free food
Actually that happened to me with a $50 said bring change for it, but I still felt bad so he ended up getting a $15 tip, but then again I’m a bartender,
Crazy how many dumb people don't realize the customer is 100% in the right. He has no obligation to return the pizzas already given to him. The store is at fault, and the delivery driver is being a jackass.
In the eyes of the business, this pizza is actually possessed by the driver at the time of delivery for most pizza places. That's how they get around using their employee's cars – they are contractors delivering the pizza. SO, what that means is that this guy is directly stealing from the driver in scenarios like this.
We dont even deal with cash anymore. Atleast where i work. All card. So no bull crap like this. Only cash that gets handed round is the tips from the customer to us drivers
I've been having this problem recently not just with dominoes— With Inflation and the price increase of ALL Food, 100 dollars is NOT alot of money anymore– Therefore Everyone SHOULD HAVE CHANGE!!!!!
I used to deliver pizza and had to deal with bull shit like this all the time. Some people would demand I stay on their porch so they could “check their order” like I had spare pies in the car.
Stupid arguements like this and the comment section is why we can't have anything NOT be a company policy. Stupid crap like this leads to stricter rules/policies for everyone going forward. Also I've been eating pizza for over 20 years. It was always an unwritten rule, you pay or you don't receive the pizza. The driver made the mistake of handing them over before money was paid. Also if you pay in stupid big bills like this tool, it's not the drivers problem. When I delivered yes, pizza guys had all cash on hand and could break a 100 easy. That was 10 years ago, a couple drivers got mugged and now they have to drop their excess cash at the store for safety.
All the people in this comment section who actually believes the guy- I got a bridge to sell you. He did this to get free pizza. It's a scam he's banking the company won't call him on. Meanwhile the delivery person is gonna get in shit when he gets back like "wdym you gave him the pizza without paying"
Yea I don’t get paid enough to deal with that. If he handed it to me already and then closed the door on me, I’m getting back in my car, going back to work, breaking that bill and keeping the change as a tip 💯
As a cop, I'd tell the guy who took the pizza to pay online, since I'm sure the pizza was eaten, or you'll get a court date. He can't tell the driver to go back and get the money.

the audacity for the guy with the doorbell camera to post.
Domino's may as well give their pizza away for as horrible as it is now.
He keeps the tip; he calls the company they pay for it. It's their fault not the drivers.
Should have held onto the money and said you be back with change when you have chance then never come back.
It was nice of the homeowner to let the pizza guy use his ring video…🤔
Keep the hundred and move on. He acted foolish after accepting the pizza and not giving it back
Who would carry change for 100 tho lol
"come back with change… IF YOU WANT" is his exact words. That would hold up in court. Big tip for driver.

Dude knew exactly what he was doing hoping to get it for free. Pay with a card, you cheap Momo.
Why would the guy that steals the pizza post this video?

He can pick up the change like I care about the job 😂

i would just take the 100 and tell him to come to the store.
call the cops and let them handle it.

Ser im sure you told them but they tell you they cant take bills over 50$ that policy doesn't change because you want to pay with 100$

So he got a good tip

"you can?t take pizza for free"
whut? he paid 100$ dafuq u saying XD you owe him 35$
Dude has probably pulled this on other drivers before.
Sitting at home in comfort, while the driver is out there working don’t be a dick & making his job harder…
Some people just deserve to get pistol whipped with a heavy gold plated desert eagle

I would have slapped that pizza out his hands so fast.

if he paid by hour then there should be no problem
Soooo the guy who robbed the dominos driver uploads this? Either it’s a skit or he’s not very smart
