The wise Taylor Swift once said, “you know how to ball, I know Aristotle.” Well, turns out they both know how to ball. Last night, the star sat courtside with Travis Kelce in Cleveland, Ohio, for Game Three of the New York Knicks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers NBA Eastern Conference Finals. And while Swift has previously cheered on the Knicks, here, she showed support for her fiancé’s home team.
While Kelce let his hometown pride shine with a handful of Cavaliers merch, Swift’s outfit kept her loyalties quiet. Her love for Stella McCartney, on the other hand, was loud. The artist wore a timeless black tank-and-blue jeans combo, selecting a range of products from her longtime go-to designer. On top, she selected a chain knit piece from the label’s newly-revived H&M collaboration, first debuted some 20 years ago. She contrasted the affordable style with several from McCartney’s standard collections: a patchwork denim jacket, a pair of high-waisted wide-leg jeans, and heeled sandals. To finish things off, she carried Jonathan Anderson’s Dior Cigale bag—opening it at one point to grab a piece of gum for Kelce.
Rivaling the star-studded Madison Square Garden crowd—Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner, Ben Stiller, Spike Lee—the Swift-Kelce outing drew music, football, and pop culture fans alike to their TVs, eager to catch a glimpse of the betrothed. And besides an announcer consistently referring to one of the most successful global superstars as “Travis Kelce’s girlfriend,” the viewers were not disappointed.
